Each student will be given a bag of Skittles. The students will create a chart
that shows the number of each color of Skittles in their bag. The students
will then use Microsoft Excel to create a bar graph and a pie chart that
shows the data they collected. Each student will write a brief statement
about which graph they prefer and why.

a. Analyze data presented in a graph.
b. Compare and contrast multiple graphic representations (circle graphs,
line graphs, line plot graphs, pictographs, Venn diagrams, and bar graphs) for
a single set of data and discuss the advantages/disadvantages of each.
