Quality of design ( detailed engineering)

- Review, approve the detailed engineering


Quality of Equipment:
- Valid the equipment manufacturer ( if different of the vendor list designed in the tender
document)
- FAT: perform or assist the owner for all factory test for major equipments, report the non-
conformity or defects and propose solution
Schedule of Mounting
- Supervise the contractors progress in site works to ensure that they are as per the project
schedule
- Advise Site manager items that may affect construction progress
Quality of mounting
- Undertake general project site observation: inspection of the electrical works for contractors
adherence to the approved specifications , good working practice
- Review contractors installation method statements
- In conjunction with the contractor and Documentation Manager, control that the documents
for erection are continually on site
- Provide report in regard to any electrical services variation costs that me be claimed by the
contractor during erection
- Prepare on going list of deficiencies for contactors remedial action
Safety
In coordination with OHS Manager, control the safety condition, report; Stop the construction if
unsafe practices are being followed
Testing/commissioning
Prepare /review the contractor system testing and commissioning methods and schedules
On a spot basis witness electrical testing and commissioning
As build drawings
Review and approve contractors as build drawings
Review and comment contractors operation and maintenance manual
Site meetings
Attend site progress meeting, technical meetings
