INTRODUCTION
“Life is great make most of it”, be an optimist…………..
Since childhood my dream was to study in foreign country to get best
education. In foreign, the campuses and facilities are truly high-tech and
world-class, providing most conductive learning environment. Such a learning
environment will also make me able to compete in the upcoming competition
in job market because the world is changing at a rapid speed. Multi-national
companies are operating in each corner of the earth and shortly it will turn into
global village. I want to get good quality education to fulfill my dreams. I want
to get professional education and recognized degree in my life that charms
(mean Polish) my educational career.
Everybody wants a good position in the society i.e. Good educational career,
good job with handsome salary, and good financial status in society. Therefore
he tries his best to get a good educational career by getting quality and
standard of education. I need a peaceful and socially developed environment
IT IS TRUE; the quality of people you interact makes a big difference. So I want
to be surrounded by people who are intelligent, hardworking, talented,
honest, exciting and have better ideas & knowledge. Therefore I have decided
to go abroad for higher education. It will help in my personality enhancement
and i will be able to improve my general knowledge by sharing ideas with
international students. And then I will be able to fight for progress of my
country in my relevant field.
WHY UK

the hub of opportunities. UK is one of the most exciting country in whole world
.UK has created a good reputation in the world of education and now UK is the
most ideal country for higher education. It is a place where people live and
work together. U.K. is an educational country with many universities, colleges,
schools and other institutions of learning. Living and studying in UK can be very
rewarding and it will put me at the centre of great social, cultural and
educational opportunities. It is a best place for making a bright future. A vast
mixture of forward-looking courses and exciting experiences and valuable
qualifications can really make us different from others. Here we will get variety
of courses and places to study, and help to prepare ourselves
to guide us in a really fantastic learning experience. A major advantage of
studying in the UK is, the opportunity to become perfect in foreign languages.
It is also an educational country with many universities, colleges, schools and
other institutions of learning. This great country caters for a wide variety of
different tastes, styles, fashions, cultures and communities, and offers an
enormous range of sights and historical buildings which are some of the most
enjoyable things to visit and experience. London is a place where students
should feel lucky if they will purse the management degree. In U.K. they will
get enough opportunities to learn in a good educational and professional
background. For studying abroad i select London(UK) on basis of various
factors like standard of living of the people in the country, the quality of
education, the educational history of a country, peaceful and studious

INFORMAL LEARNING
There are a wide range of everyday activities from which i can learn about
management and can enhance my management skills. Informal methods for
example, reading books, having discussions with friends, summer training,
keeping a diary with thoughts about management also included. I cannot
develop my management skills merely by reading, talking or attending a course
unless i actually apply new materials and methods.
LANGUAGE – I speak usually English. Hindi is my native language. German is my
elementary language. Language is very important part of my life and this is
actually the most developed technique of informal representation ever
invented.
ABOUT MYSELF
My name is Himanshu Kumar. I am a hard-working student. I always look
forward in the life. I am an optimistic person and always think that How to
make a bright future. I always analyse pros and cons of situations / project so
as to make the way clear. I listen very carefully everyone to take good out of
them. I know everyone has something special / different quality in them, so i
respect everyone. I feel that management taught me how to work better in
worst situations. I think every perspective has two faces, in which one is IN and
other is OUT, so i always try to work rather to hesitate.
Characteristics- I enjoy my personal satisfaction, financial gain, and stability in
my work. I take my every work seriously and complete it with full
concentration. I plan steps timely in my work / project. I analyse the problem
and try to found exact problem and then give my full efforts to solve it.
Skills- In this corporate world, Communication is the way to reach in-depth of
anyone, to become introduce, to get knowledge of someone. This is the way to
address formally and transform information to other.
EDUCATION
I did my High School (10’Th) from Hindu Inter College Nagina, Allahabad Board
(U.P.). I secured 69.1% marks [in which Distinction in Maths, Science and Arts].
I topped my college in High School. I achieve 1’st Rank Award from college and
also awarded in inter college mathematics and science competition .On the
basis of my talent and extraordinary qualities I was appointed as the Class
Representative and president of Chess Board and Regulation Board.
I did my Intermediate (11’Th) from Hindu Inter College Nagina, Allahabad
Board (U.P.). I secured 72% marks [in which 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry,
Mathematics]. I topped my college in Intermediate and got a rank within
District Top 10. I got prize in English Quiz and Knowledge at District Level. So i
was appointed as Assistant Manager (college) of Quiz Board.
I did my Graduation ([Link].) from Dhampur Degree College Dhampur, Bijnor
{M.J.P. Rohillkhand University, Bareilly}. I secured 77% in my Graduation with
Mathematics and Chemistry as specialisation. Again i was topper of my college
and District. I got highest marks in Chemistry in University. I manage to found
7’Th place in overall rank in University. I was the Class Representative and A-
Grade member of college at University level. I have participated in many
Theatre, Drama, Open Debates and Article Writing in the college. I won 2’nd
position in One Act Play [Anzzam Sa Aagaj Tak] at University Level in State in
which i play the lead role of Bharat {a soldier}.
I did my PGDIB [Post Graduate Diploma in International Business] from Amity
International Business School, Amity University, Uttar Pradesh, and Noida. I
secured 7.12 cgpa. During PGDIB I have developed great management skills
and also have developed the ability to adjust myself in global environment. I
know how to achieve success in different cultural environment. The motive is
“Think Globally and Act Locally.” I have the courage to face the challenges of
life with happiness and calmness. As we all know that “Failures are the Pillars
of Success.” Even if once or twice I am unable to achieve my targets I don’t
loose my hope and keep on struggling for the same unless and until I became
able to achieve it. I have a very strong will power and self confidence. The only
weakness of mine is my anger and my greatest strength is the support of my
parents.
FAMILY
Family is the first place of learning for a child. All moral and ethical values have
been imparted to me by my parents. They are fully dedicated towards my
education. My father is a teacher. His institution fell proud in having such a
talented and dedicated thought leader. In addition to it he is also a good
farmer. In my family we respect values of culture. My family is stable and
strong and always give me freedom of thinking. My parents believe on me
always and i always respect them. Our culture taught us to help disables and
use our mind and energy in doing what is good for society and country. My
parents taught me to look ahead in life and never miss opportunities. A better
understanding in between me and my parents is the biggest reason of my
success in every field of life.
FORMAL LEARNINGS
1) One Year PGDIB –
During first semester, i learn about management that how an environment and
willingness can control and manage resources. I meet peoples with high ideas
and high ambitions. I learn about leadership, personality, attitude, planning
and Relationship {all constituents of Management} that how they work all
together and give a productive result. All the faculties give me best of possible
they can. At Amity i pride myself in having some of most talented and
dedicated thought leaders in the country that comes from the best institutions
in the world. Not only are they academically and professionally amongst best,
but have high standard of moral and ethical values so that they can be true
role models. In the first semester i learn about PGBM (Principle of Global
Business Management). I understand what are the procedures of doing /
establishing business in other country, what problems occur, what is the
market entry, how other country environment {socially, economically,
politically} differ and in against / favour of our country. Marketing
Management enable me to understand how a product / service launched in
the market and how market research, market segmentation-targeting &
positioning, competitor’s product affect our strategies. Financial Management
give me knowledge about basic financial functions like General-Ledger, Balance
Sheet, and Profit & Loss account. I understand how inflation works and how
much it affects on our economy. I learnt about an International Language
(German). I also take keen interest in participating in various events organized
by our institute AIBS (Amity International Business School) like HR summit,
INBUSH etc. I have given my best for these events and worked a lot on my part.
I had made a number of industrial visits and met different corporate delegates.
During second semester, Export Management gave me so much knowledge
about export procedures, export documentation, foreign trade policy, and
export order. Cross Culture Management enable me to understand about
cultural and geographical diversity.
2) Research Proposal on “HITACHI’S INABILITY TO
BECOME MARKET LEADER IN AC INDUSTRY” –
This is one of the research projects that i have presented during my
curriculum. The research is unsolicited and external at exploratory level.
PROBLEM STATEMENT- Despite the best technologies & effective range of
models in AC’s segment, Hitachi has not been able to effectively capitalize its
brand image to become the market leader. The research objective was to find
out justified reason for the present market scenario which portrays that
Hitachi is not the market leader in the Air Condition market and to draw the
comparative analysis of Hitachi with respect to market leader in Air
Conditioners industry.
BENEFITS TO COMPANY-This proposal will make the company (Hitachi) more
aware about the psychology of Indian consumers which can help them to focus
on their efforts towards attaining a significant share of the Indian AC industry.
Improving in some basic strategies can result in giving an initial thrust to the
company which can also help in surviving and facing competitors. Sample size
was 4000. This project was presented before Prof. Bhawna Kumar, Dean AMITY
INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS SCHOOL.
3) Research Presentation on “HUNDAI MOTORS”—
This Report was presented during my curriculum under the guidance of Dr.
Debashish Chaudhary, head of Industry Interaction Cell, AIBS NOIDA. During
the research I try to find out the reason of being Hyundai behind leading
brands like Maruti and Tata and to draw comparative analysis of Hyundai car
with respect to the leading brands in car industry. My Null Hypothesis was
--Promotional Strategies need to be improved
--Pricing Strategies need to be improved
During the project i analyse the key factors like valid technology, price,
appearance and found that Price matters much than Technology and lastly
Brand. I give my attention on salary brand, advertisement brand, market
visibility brand, after sales service brand, satisfaction brand and suggest brand.
Today’s market is highly price sensitive; mostly Hyundai products are for high
class society. Comparatively ineffective promotional strategies and unpopular
market visibility of company are also the reasons for failure.
4) Hypothetical Analysis Project on a Company with New
Product [Marketing]
Company Name- AMICOM
Product- INTERNET BOOSTERS
This project was given to our group by Mr. Roopak, Faculty Marketing, AIBS
NOIDA. Project was based on a hypothetical company with a hypothetical
product (launched not yet). We did market research and gather data from
known sources (primary, secondary) and decide that Internet Boosters can be
different and very effective product rather traditional Routers.
5) SUMMER INTERNSHIP REPORT
Project Title-“COMPLETE ORDER TO CASH CYCLE IN SAP SD”
Type- Experience Based
I did my summer internship in Enterprise Infosystems and Consulting, a Delhi
based subsidiary of ISAC Consultancies, under the guidance of Mr. Amit
Agarwal {Project Manager SAP SUPPORT TEAM} as my Industry Guide and Ms.
Seema Sahai, as my Faculty Guide, AIBS NOIDA.
My project was based on mySAP ERP – SD module. SAP scenario for ORDER TO
CASH supports the entire process chain for a typical sales process with a
customer. This business process encompasses all steps from creating an order
then creation of a delivery to billing procedures. My learning objective was to
understand OTC CYCLE, OTC Management {sales order management, pricing,
delivery, shipping and billing} and to find out the relation between cost, profits,
and cash flows with cycle. Find out the relationship between all modules {SD,
MM, CS, QM, LE, and PP} of Logistics Application.
METHODOLOGY—
>To understand SAP R/3
>To check ASAP Methodologies
>To clarify master records, organisation structure, sales organisation,
distribution channel, division, sales area, sales office, sales group, sales person,
shipping point and loading point.
>Manage –Order Entry, Delivery/Shipment Processing, Picking/Packing
FINDINGS-
Order To Cash Cycle determines how quickly an order from customers is
translated into cash in bank, it determines customer experience and
perception of the service provider, Order To Cash Management have ability to
fulfil orders in time as this has a direct bearing on revenue or cash flows and
hence the bottom line of company.
MANAGEMENT & ACADEMIC
LEARNINGS
Time management is most important learning during my academic curriculum.
Here i became able to learn about Planning and Goal Setting. Pre-planning for
any activity is very important. Goal is my final objective as a management
student and trainee. To achieve my target, I always do my best efforts. I
believe in the thesis that; success usually comes to those who are too busy to
be looking for it. I think communication is the ever-most updated and
advanced tool/technique to elaborate my personality, eagerness and to first-
hand with anyone. So i always concentrate on the ways of communication
either in dealing a group of people or within a group discussion.
Comparative analysis is a tool to judge myself. It is a source of self motivation
for me. Time is ultimately the most valuable resource and totally perishable. I
indulge essential habits and make daily planner to get maximum output of
work without wasting my time.
I always analyse INPUT-OUTPUT mechanism to find out the efficiency of my
work. I schedule my priorities rather to prioritize my schedule. To achieve my
objective with available resources, i set plan. Planning is very important
because Failing to Plan is Planning to Fail.
I look and analyse the data very carefully to get every possible and useful
information from it. I discuss my problems with others to get their views
regarding problems, then I analyse their views very carefully. After this
procedure I take my decisions and it always help me in solving problems.
WHAT NEXT
EXPECTATIONS-
The proposed course will open new doors for me to get high profile jobs
in national and international organizations.
The extensive knowledge of the subject will help me in understanding
the issues of modern world.
The successful completion of the course will facilitate me to apply for
more advance course in the field.
The proposed course will enable me to read the subject on modern
basis.
I want to develop my ability to think critically and independently. I also want
to develop my leadership skills. Students enter University with a wide range of
different motivations; and often students have a variety of motivations and
expectations regarding better future prospects. Students come to university in
order to obtain a qualification, which will get them a job. The experience of
university per se is secondary to the rewards that the award of a degree will
(hopefully!) bring to students after graduation. Here the emphasis is more on
the intrinsic rewards that result from developing an understanding of specific
subject matter. At university level, every student tries to get {social, physical,
mental, moral, emotional and intellectual} development. So that they can
make their future shining like a star. University is most expected place for
students’ personal. In university, ever student want to become intelligent, hard
working, talented, honest and exciting so that they can get success very easily.
I feel that greatest reward for doing is the opportunity to do more.
OBJECTIVES-
Finally, i would like to say that i have knowledge of management to analyse the
things in cross environment. I have many skills that i gain from my research
experience and which enables me to find job as market analyst. I always get
support and faith of my parents and friends to think beyond the line and lastly i
have enough courage and confidence to live in cross culture. MBA is the need
of today without it my education is incomplete. It enhances my knowledge,
liberalizes my thoughts, broadens my outlook helps me in being the care taker
of business. It eradicates pessimism and fatalism by sowing the seed of hope
and prosperity. Business school improve my quantitative approach,
presentation and communication skills. Students of MBA programs study the
theory and application of business and management principles. This type of
study equips students with knowledge that can be applied to a variety of real
world business situations. The main reason is to increase my salary potential
and to improve my career. A MBA degree is almost a necessity in today’s
business world. In most cases, an MBA degree is required for executive and
senior management positions. There are some companies who will not even
consider applicants unless they have an MBA degree. A person having MBA
degree can get many different type of employment opportunities.
I am very hopeful that my University will fulfil my expectation regarding,
flexibility in learning and real time industry interaction which help us to
elaborate us in diverse culture. I hope that my college will prepare the
students for real life corporate world even before they step out of the campus.
In the campus they will be encouraged to imbibe and enrich our professional
as well as personal life. Lastly I want to say that,
