Bible Memory
This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. 1 John 3:16a

Next Week

Bible: In Bible we will be talking about the last week and the events that led up to Easter. We will also learn about Christs crucifixion, death, and miraculous resurrection! We will discuss the sacrifice that Christ gave for us. Math: We will continue to learn about addition. Reading: We will be reading Max Takes the Train. We will be focusing on realism vs. fantasy. Handwriting We will be reviewing all the letters that we have learned so far. We are also continuing to work on writing words and sentences. This involves starting with a capital letter, using finger spacing, and using an ending mark (punctuation).

Other Important Information

Please be working with your child at home with knowing their address, phone number, and birthday. This will be assessed on our fourth quarter report card. On Friday, April 25 we will be examining different kinds of seeds. Please email me if you can send in any of the following: o 1 cantaloupe o 3 peaches o 3 plums
We will continue the Achievement Tests this week. Please make sure your child gets to bed early and eats a healthy breakfast each morning. We will begin testing at the beginning of each school day so it is also important for your child to be at school on time. Thank you for your attention to this! I am confident that your children will do wonderfully.
