Vocabulary: Under the sea, crab, shells, jellyfish, turtle, shark, dolphin, squid, whale, seahorse, octopus Sentence structure: This week we are going to talk about all the animals we can see in the sea. We are going to say !"n the sea, " can see a#an..l! 'e are going to review the phonic alpha et ( We are also going to practise describing the animals ! The octopus is green! singing the alpha et phonics song. This is a great wa( to improve the phonics and also for the Activities: teacher to assess the level and progress of each $s it was %ather&s day on Thursday, we were unable to ha'e our hunt to help the dolphin escape through the ma(e, therefore, we will ha'e it on this Thursday. st&dent. Songs: We are going to start to learn the words and dance for our )hristmas show. Games: We are going to play !fly swatters! where the students ha'e to compete to hit the correct word first.

Phonics
!e"iew In phonics this week we will contin&e to review the phonic alpha et. 'e will do this with games s&ch as splat and ( watching the phonics song on video. 'e will do more work in the phonics work ook where the st&dents trace words and have to identif( which word starts with which letter. !t&dents are enco&raged to spell o&t the voca words and prono&nce them. #ew $letters/s%un&s/"%cabulary' The new letters this week are k, l and m. 'e will practice writing these letters in o&r handwriting ooks and also practice prono&ncing them and introd&cing words that egin with these letters.
