Investigatory Project Proposal

This document is an investigatory project proposal that will examine using recycled malunggay wood bark to make handmade paper. Specifically, it will test the texture, cost/value, and consumer acceptance of paper made from malunggay bark. The proposal predicts that paper made from malunggay bark will have a rough texture since the bark is used, but will be cheap to make and acceptable to consumers given the low cost of materials. Classmates will be asked to rate samples of the bark paper on tear strength, texture, and acceptance to evaluate it. The results will be compiled in a table along with comments. The proposal concludes that the project has relevance as many people seek affordable high quality paper.
