Year 6 Homework Contract!

Week 8, Term 3, 13

The following is a suggested plan to complete your homework this week. You are free to juggle your homework to fit in with family events and after school commitments. You MUST complete the set pieces of work by Thursday and bring the pack to school to be marked and your results recorded. Monday: Spelling Rule up a page in your homework book in four equal columns. Copy this weeks list words into column one. Every day this week you will need to write out your list words in preparation for Fridays spelling test. This week the test will cover the past three weeks of work in a summary of the skills you practiced. Tuesday: Maths

Play battleships with your family! You can use this link to print your own or collect a sheet for your teacher. www.printablepaper.net/preview/battleship Wednesday: Year 6 Elections!

You are in the middle of your own election campaign. Explain to your family the task you are involved in in SOSE. Tell them the name of your party, your main policies, the artwork you have created and how you plan to campaign in your class. Your parents have just voted in an election. They may have some good advice for you! Thursday Complete any homework set by specialist teachers tonight. Learn your spelling words for your test tomorrow. Catch up on any work that you have outstanding. Check with your teacher about this. Reading and Times tables!
