Year 6 Homework Contract!

Week 6, Term 3, 13

The following is a suggested plan to complete your homework this week. You are free to juggle your homework to fit in with family events and after school commitments. You MUST complete the set pieces of work by Thursday and bring the pack to school to be marked and your results recorded. Monday: Spelling Rule up a page in your homework book in four equal columns. Copy this weeks list words into column one. Every day this week you will need to write out your list words in preparation for Fridays spelling test. This week the test will cover the past three weeks of work in a summary of the skills you practiced. Tuesday: Maths

Wednesday: This week we will begin to study plants! Get a head start by completing this task! About Plants fill in the missing words from the word bank below. 1. Thursday Complete any homework set by specialist teachers tonight. Learn your spelling words for your test tomorrow. Catch up on any work that you have outstanding. Check with your teacher about this. Reading and Times tables!

How is your reading going? How well do you know your timestables? You need to read something EVERY night and record the details of what you have read on the Reading Log Sheet. Make sure you stick in the Reading Log and make it a priority to complete it each week! If you do not have a reading log chat to your teacher and get a new one. And practice your times tables!!

And remember to do tasks for your Service Learning Challenge!
