Low Density Polyethylene BC818 Data Sheet

BC818 is a low density polyethylene produced under high pressure. It presents good optical properties, low neck-in, film stability, and adhesion on porous substrates. It is recommended for extrusion coating and injection molding of general parts. For extrusion coating, the recommended extruder temperature profile is 150-340°C. BC818 has a melt flow rate of 8.1 g/10 min and a density of 0.918 g/cm3. Blown films made from BC818 have a tensile strength of 25/20 MPa, elongation at break of 380/870%, and haze of 8%.
