DANCE FORMS IN INDIA-

India has many dance forms such as Bharatnatyam, kathak, Mohiniattam etc. Bharatnatyam- this is a traditional dance form of Tamilnadu, it is regarded as one of the most brilliant and graceful dances. Kathak- is one of the eight forms of Indian classical dances, originated from northern areas of India. Mohiniattam- it is a traditional dance form of Kerala. The term Mohiniattam comes from the words "Mohini" meaning a woman who enchants onlookers and "aattam" meaning graceful and sensuous body movements.
