Internship Final Report Guidelines

FINAL REPORT FORMAT

I. Introduction (at least two pages) a. Company/Office/Firm Profile b. Nature or Dynamics of the Company/Office/Firm (This section shall include the vision/mission/goals of the organization, if any is stated; the work force or organizational structure; the works or line of business the organization is involved) c. Duration of the internship and the general nature of the position occupied by the intern/s. Internship Narrative (narrative of the relevant experience or incidents during the 150-hour internship) (at least 10 pages) Theory and Practice Integration (at least 10 pages) a. Areas of law which have been relevant in the work/s performed during the internship. b. Specialization or primary focused of the company/firm/office as reflected in the practice or records of the company c. Actual works performed by the internship i. Drafting of legal documents and correspondence or letters ii. Legal research and writing iii. Messengerial work (offices/site visited) iv. Interview of witnesses, if any v. Recording of documents, if any vi. Other administrative tasks. vii. Site visit or court/proceeding observation, if any d. New learnings i. Substantive or procedural laws or other legal concepts ii. Paralegal skills, if any. iii. Others e. Attitudes/behaviours/virtues observed or learned from relevant experiences f. Impact of internship experiences to personal goals Conclusion (at least 3 pages)

(Nota bene: The Final Report must not be less than twenty-five pages excluding annexes/appendices/attachments or pictures, if any. It must be in a short bond paper, double space, with New Times Roman, 12, as font style and size. Every Chapter should be in narrative/paragraph form, unsubstantiated outlines will not do. Pictures may or may not be attached to the Final Report).
