BROCHURE ASSIGNMENT
Youre assignment consists of making a brochure for the town or place at which the novel is set in. Choose 1 of the following three novels we have read thus far in the semester. Think of this assignment as being your job as an advertiser to attract as many tourists to your chosen destination/setting as possible! Youre brochure must contain pictures with captions that draw the traveler in at which makes them want to research deeper into that destination. Along with the use of sufficient photos, you must write descriptions of the area. Feel free to be creative with this. You may add extra descriptions of the city if you feel they go with how the novel portrays the destination to accomplish more creativity! (I would make my own brochure and pass it around the class for my students to refer to as a good example) Novels to choose from: The Great Gatsby Lord of the Flies Brave New World
