The existing P/N 6870742 tube assembly is to be replaced with a new P/N 6876925 tube assembly, which has a wider bracket designed to reduce stress. July 18, 19r POWER AND ACCESSORIES GEARBOX-OIL FILTER INLET TUBE ASSEMBLY, REPLACE PLANNING INFORMATION: EFFECTIVITY: All 250-Cl8 Series and 250-C20 Series Power and Accessories Gearbox Assemblies-Inspect and comply as required. To provide a new oil filter tube assembly with a wider wrap-around bracket designed to keep the tube-to-bracket weld area away from a stress concentration point. The P/N 6870742 Oil Filter Inlet Tube Assembly is replaced with the P/N 6876925 Tube Assembly. Not affected. It is recommended that this bulletin be accomplished at next overhaul following parts availability. FAA-DER Approved.
