Peacock Scarf

This scarf uses a lacy stitch pattern that is repeated over 4 rows and requires 1 skein of Berroco Ultra Alpaca yarn or 2-3 skeins of a worsted or aran weight yarn. The stitch pattern is cast on 44 stitches and consists of knitting, purling, yarning over, and decreasing 3 stitches together in a lacy pattern. Peacock Scarf

You will need the following: 1 Skein of Berroco Ultra Alpaca(2 for an extra long length) 2 Skeins of Louisa Harding Impressions (or 3) to appear exactly as ours . Or just 2-3 Balls or Skeins of any Worsted or Aran weight yarn, this scarf is really beautiful made from most yarns. You can also make it with a different weight, just alter your needle size.

This lacy stitch is much easier than it appears!

# 8 Knitting Needles Cast on 44 stitches Row Row Row Row 1: 2: 3: 4: Knit Purl K2, *YO, P1, P3tog, P1, YO, K2; repeat from * to end. Purl

These 4 rows make the pattern, continue until desired length and then bind off in your favorite method.
