Siemens S7-300: Installing a License Key
Objectives The student will install a single license key to be used for a Siemens S7-300 PLC.

Procedure 1. First, open the License Management software by clicking this icon.

2. You will see the following window open.

3. Insert the license key dongle into a USB port. 4. You will now see the License Key appear.

5. Click on License Key and you will see how many keys remain on the dongle. 6. Click on one of the licenses to highlight it.

7. On the toolbar, click on License Key and choose Transfer

8. You will see the following window open.

9. Open the Target drive: and choose Local Disk(C:) and click OK.

10. The license has been transferred and you will see one less license available. Close the window and remove the License Key dongle.
