A national and international presence

Sandia National Laboratories has major sites in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Livermore, California, with additional facilities and offices across the United States. Sandia also supports research collaborations with partners around the world.

Together, Sandia’s labs, remote testing sites, on-site teams and high-performance computing resources support mission work for the Department of Energy and the National Nuclear Security Administration, including stockpile stewardship, nonproliferation and other national security priorities.

Sandia Science & Technology Park (SSTP)

SS&TP is a technology community. Located adjacent to Sandia in Albuquerque, tenants have access to world-class facilities, scientists, and engineers.

Kauai Test Facility

The Kauai Test Facility is a rocket launch range in Hawaii operated by Sandia for the DOE.

Tonopah Test Range

The Tonopah Test Range, managed by Sandia for DOE, is an expansive site in southern Nevada for the testing of nonnuclear weapons systems and bomb components.
