Rocky Mountain T'ai Chi Ch'uan
Teaching Yang style Tai Chi Chuan via the Cheng Man-Ching lineage in Boulder County CO since 1977
Snow Days
Given how dry it’s been, snow days seem very unlikely this winter. But, if we have to cancel class, we will announce it here. In any case, if you feel that it’s unsafe to travel, stay home!
New Classes
We just opened registration for classes in the next session: Apr 14 - May 19 in Boulder, Apr 23 - June 20 in Hygiene. The current beginning class will continue as an intermediate class, reviewing the first third and picking the form up right after the first third. See all the details on the Class Schedule page. We hope you’ll join us!
Getting Started Online
For people who want to get started right now or can’t make it to our in-person classes, we developed an online, 13 session class for beginners. This class is appropriate for people with any amount of experience, including no experience, who want to learn Tai Chi. So start practicing and let us know how you’re doing!
Interview
Voyage Denver recently interviewed us. Read it here.
New Writing
We had a visit from students at the Watershed School for an afternoon of Tai Chi and cultural discussion. Robyn led them in the Animal Frolics and the opening move. And they gave us very good and insightful comments! Beth wrote about it.
Jennifer added a poem to practice notes: snow stepping.
Prof Cheng taught 300000 students at the West Point of China! (Well maybe not) Lee explores some myths and history.
Fully Vaccinated School
All instructors and students at Rocky Mountain Tai Chi are fully vaccinated. We only accept students who have completed their COVID-19 vaccinations.
