Spring trips

I kept a light travel schedule this spring, because of teaching, supervision, and to reduce CO2 emissions (yes, I factor that in my decisions now). Nevertheless I will do some trips. If you are around, come and say hi!

Feb 11th: I will be at the University of Barcelona, giving an invited talk on “Women in Science” day

Mar 16th: I will give an invited talk in the DPG March meeting – cancelled, due to the coronavirus pandemic

May 2020: visiting ISI, in Turin – cancelled, due to the coronavirus pandemic

Fall trips

I will travel to a few places in the next few weeks, talking about old and new research projects – if you are around, come and say hi!

29th Aug: Cambridge Networks Day, Invited Speaker, University of Cambridge, UK

4th – 8th Sep: Metascience 2019 Symposium, Invited Speaker, Stanford University, CA, USA

25th Sep: Colloquium at SISSA, Trieste, Italy

12th – 13th Dec: Seminars at QSS and CWTS, University of Leiden, Netherlands

At the Prix Monte-Carlo Femme de l’Année

I was in Monaco, presenting the work on Quantifying Success in Art at the Prix Monte-Carlo Femme de l’Année. Highlight of the visit: talked with Prince Albert II while drinking a cocktail! Here a blogpost on the our NERDS research group homepage.

New Position

I started today as assistant professor at the Computer Science Department of IT University of Copenhagen. Exciting!
