CORONARY ARTERY CALCIFICATION

CORONARY ARTERY CALCIFICATION

Coronary artery calcium is quantified for each coronary artery and in total using the Agatston score. In this case, there is mild calcification. The arterial age is also calculated to compare with the patient’s chronological age. The CAC index images are show on the right.

LUNG DENSITY

LUNG DENSITY

Hypodense lung tissue is quantified in the summary report on the left in each lobe and in total along with lobe and total lung volume. The emphysema index (%EI) shows the amount of hypodense tissue, while the normalized %EI shows the amount of hypodense tissue with the effects of the normalization algorithm applied.

Hypodense lung tissue is quantified in the summary report on the left in each lobe and in total along with lobe and total lung volume. The emphysema index (%EI) shows the amount of hypodense tissue.
