A straightforward onboarding process designed for businesses that want control, flexibility, and a professionally prepared environment.
Your allocated rack space, power feeds, and network uplinks are provisioned and tested before you arrive. Ports, cross-connects, and any agreed network requirements are configured in advance to ensure a smooth deployment.
Deploy your infrastructure your way. Attend on-site to install and configure equipment yourself, or ship hardware directly to us for installation. Our engineers can rack, cable, and provision connectivity on your behalf under remote hands support.
With power, cooling, and connectivity fully provisioned and tested, you can deploy and bring your equipment online on your own schedule. Our engineers are available if required, but you remain fully in control of your infrastructure.
QuickHost operates from a secure, professionally managed UK data centre in High Wycombe, purpose-built to support business-critical infrastructure.
Our facility is designed for reliability, security, and operational clarity, providing a controlled environment where your equipment is protected and accessible when you need it.
The data hall features structured rack layouts, contained airflow design, controlled access systems, and resilient utility infrastructure. Every deployment sits within a monitored and professionally maintained environment built for continuous operation.
Whether you’re colocating a single server or an entire rack estate, your infrastructure benefits from the same high standards of physical security and operational oversight.

What is Colocation?
Colocation allows you to place your own servers and networking equipment inside a professionally managed data centre, rather than hosting them at your office or premises.
Instead of investing in power redundancy, cooling systems, physical security, and carrier-grade connectivity yourself, you rent secure rack space within a purpose-built facility that already provides this infrastructure.
You retain full ownership and control of your hardware, we provide the environment that keeps it operating reliably.
Why Businesses Choose Colocation
Colocation is ideal for organisations that require:
It bridges the gap between running servers in-house and moving entirely to the cloud.
How Much Space Do I Need?
Most standard servers occupy 1U of rack space, although larger systems and storage arrays may require more.
With QuickHost, you can start with a single server in a shared rack environment or scale up to a private quarter, half, or full rack, depending on your current and future requirements.
Our flexible deployment options allow you to grow without relocating infrastructure.
How Do I Manage My Colocation?
Standard colocation is customer-managed, meaning you configure and operate your own equipment.
You can attend the data centre to install or maintain hardware, or ship equipment to us for deployment under remote hands.
Where additional support is required, optional managed services are available.
Your equipment operates within our UK data centre designed for continuous service. Redundant power, structured cooling, resilient network design, and hands-on engineering support ensure your infrastructure remains stable and predictable, even under demanding conditions.
Deploy your infrastructure your way. Use our resilient blended network, introduce your own carriers via our Meet-Me Rack, operate your own ASN, or integrate private point-to-point circuits. We support scalable rack options, cross-connects, and hybrid cloud architectures, without locking you into a single model.
We’re not just space and power. Our team provides structured engineering support, proactive monitoring options, documented processes, and fully managed rack services where required. Whether you want hands-on control or operational assistance, we adapt to your level of involvement.
Our facility is located in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, with convenient access to the A4010, A404 and M40.
You’re welcome to either ship your equipment to our data centre or arrange a visit to install it yourself.
If shipping, we’ll provide your network details in advance so you can configure the server before it arrives. Once delivered, our engineers will rack, cable, and power the equipment in your allocated space.
If you prefer to attend in person, our team will be on hand to assist with installation and ensure everything is connected correctly.
Please note that we’re unable to retain original packaging due to space constraints. When your service ends, we’ll securely package your equipment for your return shipment.
For single server colocation (1U to 4U), we supply the required power and network cabling as part of the service. You only need to provide rack rails or mounting hardware specific to your server.
For private rack customers, you are responsible for supplying your own internal power and network cabling within the rack space.
If you’re unsure what’s required, our team is happy to advise before delivery or installation.
Ideally, yes. We recommend supplying the correct rack rails or mounting kit designed for your server to ensure secure and proper installation within the cabinet.
If rails are not available, we can install your server on a rack shelf instead. Rack shelves are available at an additional monthly cost, just let us know in advance so we can arrange this before installation.
Our colocation environment is designed to support any equipment suitable for standard 19-inch rack deployment.
We also accommodate non-rackmount hardware, including tower servers, workstations, storage and NAS appliances, Raspberry Pi clusters, NUCs, mini PCs, and specialist systems such as cryptocurrency mining equipment.
If you have specific requirements, speak to our team, and we’ll confirm compatibility and power allocation before deployment.
Power resilience is delivered through an online N+1 Riello UPS system with external bypass and dedicated distribution, allowing us to monitor and manage power delivery at rack level.
The facility operates dual A+B mains supplies feeding the UPS infrastructure, supported by an on-site diesel generator with a 72-hour fuel tank capacity. Additional diesel is stored on-site, allowing runtime to be extended during prolonged grid outages.
Each rack can be provisioned with up to 2 × 32A 250V AC commando sockets, supplied via independent A and B power distribution units for true power path redundancy.
We offer full racks (42U), half racks (21U), and quarter racks (10U), allowing you to scale your footprint as your infrastructure grows.
All racks are deployed in a structured hot and cold aisle configuration to optimise airflow and cooling efficiency. Each rack features lockable, detachable mesh front and rear doors, maximising airflow while maintaining physical security.
Our data centre is cooled using an N+1 Airedale downflow direct expansion (DX) system, ensuring continuous operation even during maintenance or equipment failure.
Hot air is extracted at ceiling level, cooled, and then redistributed beneath the raised floor. From there, it is delivered through strategically positioned floor vents directly in front of the racks, precisely where it’s needed.
This approach is significantly more efficient than overhead cooling, where cold air must fight rising heat and loses effectiveness before reaching the equipment.
To ensure optimal routing and low latency, our network is built on fully redundant fibre paths into key UK exchanges, including London Telehouse and Equinix Slough.
Our edge is powered by Juniper MX routing platforms, with Juniper EX Series switches operating in Virtual Chassis at the core, delivering high availability, fast convergence, and consistent performance.
Every rack is provisioned with dual 1Gb Cat6A uplinks as standard, supporting both failover and link aggregation. For higher throughput requirements, 10Gb copper and fibre connectivity is also available.
QuickHost delivers high-performance, resilient connectivity suitable for most deployments.
For customers requiring specific routing, private circuits, or existing carrier relationships, we support carrier-neutral colocation. Providers can deliver into our Meet-Me Rack (MMR), with cross-connects provisioned directly to your rack.
QuickHost is certified to ISO/IEC 27001 (Information Security Management) and ISO/IEC 9001 (Quality Management Systems), demonstrating our commitment to security, governance, and continual improvement.
We are also registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
