Anne Applebaum

Anne Applebaum is a staff writer for The Atlantic and a Pulitzer Prize-winning historian. She is also a senior fellow of international affairs and an Agora Fellow in Residence at the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies. She was a Washington Post columnist for 15 years and a member of the editorial board. She is the author of five books, the most recent of which, Red Famine: Stalin’s War, received the Lionel Gelber Prize in 2018.
