about the office of future engineers

Helping students and families find their college fit.

HOW WE HELP STUDENTS AND FAMILIES

In the Office of Future Engineers, our mission is to aspire to inspire middle school through high school students to consider engineering as a career. We are dedicated to recruiting academically prepared students who come with a breadth of experience to undergraduate engineering at Purdue University.

We strive to be innovative and adaptable in reaching students on multiple platforms to help them find their best college fit. In fact, you’ll find our culture is enthusiastic, authentic and fun while providing excellent customer service to all we meet.

The best part is we’re not only dedicated to our mission, we’re supported by current students.

In addition to our full-time staff, we work with an incredible group of current engineering students, our Peer Counselors, who assist us with daily operations. Along with those students, the Purdue Student Engineering Foundation (PSEF) collaborates with OFE in our daily information sessions and on-campus events, making valuable connections with prospective students and families.

Peer Counselors:
Academic Year 2025-26

Our Peer Counselors are all current Purdue Engineering students that serve as the first line of communication for prospective students and families. In fact, when you call, email or visit us, the students are often who you’ll talk to first. Our students are able to share their personal experiences and answer questions relating to student life, academics and the transition to college.
