Inside the function, we call the the <code>connect()<\/code> function from the <code>oracledb<\/code> module to connect to the Oracle Database Server.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If an exception occurs, we log and reraise it so the code that calls the function can handle it gracefully.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 2<\/strong>.
