Open Research Beacon is a project of ICOR. It is a library of organizations and individuals seeking collaborative opportunities to facilitate open research and team science.

Incentivizing Collaborative and Open Research (ICOR) is a community effort to facilitate, implement and study the effectiveness of tools and practices in open collaborative research.

The parent organization of ICOR and ORB is Rapid Science. Established as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit eligible for tax-deductible donations in 2013, our mission is to accelerate the pace and accuracy of scientific research through open, equitable and collaborative practices. As a Fiscal Sponsor, Rapid Science connects and strategizes with organizations offering real-world solutions that transform vision to policies and practices.
