​​Periodically, NIGMS creates strategic plans to outline the many priorities, goals, and objectives that the Institute will pursue in the coming years. We solicit broad input from scientists, policymakers, scientific and professional societies, and the public. At the end of the strategic plan period, we analyze the progress and outcomes achieved by NIGMS in the previous 5 years. Our past strategic plans and analyses can be found below.
