“Enteriprise Updates Repositories” means that updates are released after they are 100% verified by Nethesis and the community. Updates are delayed so we are certain they don’t break anything.

A subscription gives you confidence that your NethServer deployment is backed by the best available technical expertise and with the support you need for your organization. It also enables exclusive access to the Enterprise repository, Automatic Updates, and monitoring tools.

Each NethServer cluster needs a subscription, but you can add multiple nodes. Every subscription key is bound to the unique “Server ID” of your server.

You can easily upgrade from one subscription level to a higher one at any time. Only the difference between the two subscription prices will be charged.

Follow the migration process. How are the plans migrated from version 7 to version 8? When you upgrade to the new version, you can choose either the “Personal” or “Business” plan for NethServer. In the subscription panel on my.nethserver.com, you will see that the versions you have (Crostino, Pizza, Fiorentina, or Lasagna) are no longer supported and you need to migrate to a new supported version. The NethSecurity controller is an application designed to run on NethServer 8. This controller enables the remote management of multiple NethSecurity installations, referred to as units. The functionality of the controller app on NethServer 8 varies based on its subscription status: Controller Without Subscription:
  • Registration is limited to up to 3 units.
  • Only community firewalls can be registered.
Controller With a Valid Subscription:
  • There is no limit on the number of units that can be registered.
Only firewalls with subscription can be registered.

Trial

No, it is not possible to request commercial support during the Trial, but you can ask for commercial information by contacting [email protected].

With the Trial, the business plan is activated for 30 days. Services that require an additional fee are excluded.
