Where writers with ties to Martha’s Vineyard discuss the art, craft, and business of writing

Islanders Write 2026 Wednesday, July 15 for our kick-off event at 7:30 pm & all day Thursday, July 16

Edgartown Books is our fabulous Islanders Write bookseller. When not at Islanders Write, make sure to stop by the store in Edgartown.

Islanders Write takes place at Featherstone Center for the Arts, whose mission is to engage, enrich and connect our community through the power of art and creativity.

Since 2014 Islanders Write has been free to attend. We’d like to keep it that way, but we need your help. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation to support Islanders Write. Thank you! Click here or on the QR code to make your donation.

We are extremely grateful to the MV Cultural Council, Martha’s Vineyard Community Foundation, Farm Neck, Cronig’s Market, and our other generous sponsors for their support of Islanders Write. We are blessed to have this event at the magnificent Featherstone Center for the Arts and encourage you all to visit, see the art exhibits and take classes.
