Sunset as seen from the Moon: Last image from the Blue Ghost lunar spacecraft Mar. 24, 2025 3:54 PM
The commercial lunar spacecraft Blue Ghost (on a mission from NASA) landed on the Moon early in March and has been working the lunar surface powered by solar panels. On March 16th, it lost power as the long lunar night began. It captured a final image of the sunset. Interview comment from Stephanie Werner on forskning.no.

Hydrated Parts of the Mantle Linked to Regions of Intraplate Volcanism Mar. 20, 2025 3:50 PM
PHAB researchers recently mapped regions of the mantle that hold extra water. They discovered that these hydrated regions often sit below continental volcanic fields. Their research was recently highlighted in AGU’s Eos newsletter.
