1. Download, install and activate Mailbob for Gravity Forms

  1. Download the plugin from your accounts page.
  2. In your WordPress dashboard go to Plugins > Add New Plugin.
  3. Select the Upload Plugin button at the top of the page.
  4. Select Choose File and locate the downloaded .zip file.
  5. Select Install Now and choosing the .zip file.
  6. Select Activate Plugin.

2. Activate your license

  1. In your dashboard go to Forms > Settings.
  2. Click on the Mailbob menu button.
  3. Add your license key in the License Key field (Licenses can be found on your accounts page).
  4. Click Save Settings.
  5. Once the license key is saved, click the Activate button next to the License Key field.

3. Connect your Mailbob API credentials

  1. In your dashboard go to Forms > Settings.
  2. Click on the Mailbob menu button.
  3. Go to https://mailbob.io/settings/security/ in a different browser window.
  4. Copy and paste your User ID and API Key into the corresponding fields in your site’s settings.
  5. Click Save Settings.

4. Configure your Mailbob feed

  1. Go to Forms > Forms and edit the form you want to connect to Mailbob.
  2. Hover over the Settings tab and click Mailbob.
  3. Name – Give the feed a descriptive name.
  4. Map Fields – Map your form fields to the feed.
    • Email Address – Select the email address field that will be sent to Mailbob.
  5. Tags – Associate tags to your Mailbob contacts with a comma separated list (e.g. new lead, Gravity Forms, web source). Commas within a merge tag value will be created as a single tag.
  6. Enable Condition – Set conditions to limit when the feed actions will trigger.
  7. Click Save Settings.

How do I install and activate the plugin?

The first step is to download the plugin from your your account’s File Downloads page and click on the .zip link found in the Files column for the extension.

Next, log into your WordPress dashboard and go to Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin and choose the downloaded file. After uploading, click Activate to start using the plugin!

How do I update the plugin?

First, make sure you have added and activated your license in your dashboard on the Settings > Metaphor Licenses page in your dashboard. You can find your license on the License Keys page of your account dashboard.

Then, whenever an update is available, you’ll receive a notification within your WordPress dashboard. You can then click Update to automatically install the latest version and benefit from new features and improvements.
