Led by distinguished architects of international renown, the Workshop weeks are designed to provide students with a unique and transformative opportunity to develop and refine their technical, analytical, and argumentative skills. Far beyond theoretical exercises, these Workshops offer an intensive, hands-on engagement with contemporary architectural challenges. Each Workshop introduces a distinct perspective, enabling participants to explore cutting-edge ideas and diverse methodologies under the guidance of renowned guest architects whose expertise enriches the learning experience.

During these weeks, students experience a marked shift in pace and focus. They step away from their regular academic routines and areas of specialization to fully immerse themselves in a rigorous, fast-paced Workshop environment. This intentional change of rhythm allows participants to concentrate exclusively on the subject matter and derive the greatest possible benefit from the experience. The aim is to foster sustained engagement and intensive learning, encouraging students to think critically and creatively while working alongside leading professionals.

The topic, focus, and methodology of each Workshop are deliberately varied, ensuring that students are exposed to a broad range of architectural problems and solutions. This diversity introduces participants to multiple approaches, from traditional design methods to cutting-edge innovations. Each Workshop is carefully structured to offer a distinctive learning experience that deepens students’ understanding and broadens their professional toolkit.

In addition, each participant is assigned a local architect who serves as an assistant throughout the Workshop. These professionals complement the work of the Workshop leaders by providing additional guidance, insight, and support to students. This collaborative structure fosters a dynamic learning environment in which knowledge is shared and expanded. Each Workshop comprises 25 hours of instruction, with 7 Workshops totaling 3 ECTS credits each, and is scheduled throughout the academic year to ensure a continuous and comprehensive learning experience.
