Mathematics Day 2026

On the 14th of March 2026, the University of Konstanz hosted the Day of Mathematics. Around 135 students from Germany, Austria and Switzerland competed in team, individual and speed competitions, solving challenging mathematical problems.

In addition to the competitions, participants gained insights into studying mathematics, career paths for mathematics graduates, and current topics in mathematics. A particular highlight was the lecture on prime numbers given by Dr Anna-Maria von Pippich.
