Do I need this? Can't I just use the free version?
Of course you can! MapChart has been around since 2014 and thousands of users still use it daily for free, without issues.
All present and future maps, as well as the main map-making tools, are available for free.
You should consider getting MapChart Plus, if:
- You are a daily user of the website and/or the mobile apps.
- You want to easily save and resume your work on a map.
- You have a lot of MapChart config files of your maps everywhere on your computer.
- You want to be able to work on your maps from any device (desktop, mobile) or location (work, school, home).
- You want to save your favorite color schemes.
- You don't mind supporting your favorite web tool (😉).

As a MapChart Plus user, you can generate a unique, shareable link for your saved map. Anyone with the link (Plus user or not) can then use it to instantly load your map's settings and continue editing it or just check it out.

FAQ
Which payment methods do you accept?
Gumroad handles everything related to payment and subscriptions processing. The Gumroad store accepts all major credit cards or PayPal. Check their accepted payment methods.
Do you offer a trial version for MapChart Plus?
No. If you are not sure, please check the 1 minute preview above, to get a quick taste of all the Plus features.
Can I access MapChart Plus from the mobile apps as well?
Yes! In the iOS app (not supported on Android), you will find the option to log in with your MapChart Plus account. You will then be able to sync your maps and palette with the website (or the opposite).
Is there a version for teams?
No. There is no team plan available at the moment.
However, an individual Plus account can be used by multiple users. Please ensure that you handle your login details responsibly and maintain the security of your account when shared.
I need an invoice, where I can request it?
In your Account settings, select Get receipt/invoice. You will be redirected to Gumroad, where you can get a receipt or generate an invoice with your data.
How is VAT handled?
VAT is automatically handled by Gumroad. If you have a VAT ID you can enter it on your invoice, if you're not required to pay VAT, Gumroad will automatically issue a VAT refund.
Is there a limit to My Maps?
You can save up to 1,000 different map configurations (which is a lot!) to your account.
Is there a limit to My Palette?
You can save up to 1,000 different colors or patterns per account.
How do I request a refund?
There is a 14-day, no-questions-asked refund policy.
If you're not satisfied, just email [email protected] for a full refund. If you can, please share your reason for the refund, as your feedback helps me improve the service.
