Stephan Lukasczyk
Researcher @ JetBrains Research
I am a Researcher in the
Software Testing Research Team at JetBrains Research
. Before joining JetBrains, I was a research assistant and PhD student at the
Chair of Software Engineering II
at the University of Passau, Germany.
My main research interest lies in automated generation of unit tests, especially for dynamically-typed programming languages, such as Python. Additionally, I am interested in static and dynamic analysis techniques for such languages, as well as type systems. During my research at the University of Passau, we created the Pynguin framework for automated unit test generation for Python, for which I am still the maintainer. Only recently, I also shifted by interests to combine search-based test generation with large language models and other test-generation techniques, for example, dynamic symbolic execution.
