Adolfo Consolini image

Italian athletics champion Adolfo Consolini won a gold medal (1948 London Olympics) and a silver medal (1952 Helsinki Olympics) in discus throw competitions.
He won the gold medal in European Athletics Championships in 1946 (Oslo), 1950 (Brussels) and 1954 (Berna).
World recordman of discus throw in 1941 (mt. 53,34), in 1946 (mt. 54,23) and in 1948 (mt. 55,33).
