📖 Issue 326: AI coding assistants are becoming attack vectors, and most teams aren't ready. Orca Security disclosed RoguePilot, a passive prompt injection in GitHub Copilot that can exfiltrate tokens and take over repositories through Codespaces. If you use Copilot in shared environments, this should change your threat model today. Praetorian breaks down MCP server security, the protocol connecting AI assistants to external tools. Server chaining, supply chain attacks, and arbitrary code execution through malicious tool implementations. This is what happens when we bolt AI onto infrastructure without treating the integration layer as an attack surface. Also worth reading: ETH Zürich researchers stress-tested the "zero knowledge encryption" claims of Bitwarden, LastPass, and Dashlane against a fully malicious server. Vendor claims and actual cryptographic guarantees are not always the same thing. Full issue: https://lnkd.in/eUv4EpY2
