How do I encode a URL in HTML?

When you want to link to a web page, you can use the URL. The URL is the address of the web page you want to link to. You need to encode it in HTML.

There are two ways to encode URLs in HTML, relative and absolute. A relative URL is one that starts with a “/” or “./”. This means that the browser will look for the address in relation to the current page it is on. An absolute URL starts with "http://" or "https://" and will take you directly to a different website.

A hyperlink is a piece of text that is either blue or underlined, and when clicked, it takes you to another website or webpage. To create a hyperlink in Microsoft Word, you need to type the URL in the place where you want your link to be. You can also make a hyperlink by clicking on the "Insert" tab in the menu bar and then selecting "Hyperlink." This will open a dialogue box where you can type in your URL or copy and paste it from another document.

A'percent'character and a two-character hex value corresponding to the UTF-8 character are used to encode all characters to be URL-encoded. For example, 上海+中國 in UTF-8 would be URL-encoded as %E4%B8%8A%E6%B5%B7%2B%E4%B8%AD%E5%9C%8B .

HTML encoding is the process of converting text into a format that can be read by web browsers. It's important for security purposes.
