I am a researcher and entrepreneur working at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence and the real world. In particular I'm interested in systems that connect knowledge to make complex problems tractable.

I am a co-founder and the CEO of Reliant AI, where we help the life sciences accelerate drug development.

Previously, I was a Senior Staff Researcher at Google DeepMind, where I led research teams focused on language understanding and reasoning. I also co-founded Dark Blue Labs, a natural language processing startup acquired by Google in 2014.
