Here I will show you how to create a MySQL DataSource.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\n&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Login into http:\/\/localhost:7001\/console<\/li>\n<li> On the left menu click Services &gt; Data Sources<\/li>\n<li>On the right, click &#8220;New&#8221; button<\/li>\n<li>Enter Name: <b>mysql_ds<\/b> ; You may optionally give it an JNDI Name: <b>jdbc\/mysql_ds<\/b>; And then select Database Type: <b>MySQL<\/b><\/li>\n<li>Click &#8220;Next&#8221; button and then accept default with another two &#8220;Next&#8221; buttons.<\/li>\n<li>Now enter Database Name: <b>test<\/b>; Host Name: <b>localhost<\/b>; Database User Name: <b>root<\/b>; and then the password.<\/li>\n<li>Click &#8220;Next&#8221; and you may optionally test your connection here.<\/li>\n<li>Click &#8220;Next&#8221; and you <b>MUST <\/b>select an sever as target!<\/li>\n<li>Click &#8220;Finish&#8221;<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Now you have a DataSource ready to be used by your application on this server.
