Cookie Policy

Last updated: November 14, 2025

This Cookie Policy explains how Eaglessoft, trading as Invocit (“Invocit”, “we”, “us”), uses cookies and similar browser storage technologies on our Platform.

For how we process personal data, see our Privacy Policy (https://www.invocit.com/privacy-policy).

Scope: This policy covers the Invocit Platform. Our marketing website at https://www.invocit.com is hosted separately and has its own cookie practices — see the cookie banner on the Website.

2. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small data files stored on your device when you visit a website. They may be “session cookies” (deleted when you close your browser) or “persistent cookies” (retained until they expire or you delete them).

Web applications also use localStorage (persistent storage, remains until cleared) and sessionStorage (cleared when the browser tab closes). These serve similar purposes and are covered by the same transparency requirements.

3. Our Approach

Invocit takes a minimal, privacy-first approach. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, analytics services or social media trackers on our Platform.

We only store data on your device that is:

  • Strictly necessaryfor the Platform to function (authentication, security), or
  • Preference-basedto remember your explicit choices (theme, language)

Because all storage is strictly necessary or preference-based, no cookie consent banner is required within the Platform under applicable EU law.

4. What We Store

4.1 Authentication & Security (Session-Based)

Your browser stores authentication tokens and temporary navigation data required for the Platform to function. These are automatically cleared when you close the browser tab. They include:

  • Authentication tokens: Received from our identity provider afterlogin. Required for every request to verify your identity. No passwords are stored.
  • Navigation state: The Platform temporarily remembers where you were beforelogin or policy acceptance — including the page you were heading to and any associated parameters — so you return to the right place. Cleared immediately after use.
  • Error prevention: Counters that prevent infinite retry loops during authentication and sign-in callback errors. Cleared on success.
  • Payment flow state: During subscription checkout, a temporary payment reference is stored so we can verify your payment when you return. Clearedimmediately after.

4.2 Your Preferences (Persistent)

The Platform remembers your explicit preference choices so you don’t have to re-select them each visit:

  • Theme: Light mode, dark mode, or follow system preference
  • Language: English, Dutch,French or German
  • Selected company: Your most recently active company
  • Interface layout: Display preferences such as whether the navigation sidebar is collapsed or expanded
  • Dismissed notices: Whether you have dismissed certain in-app informational banners, so they are not shown again

These persist until you change them or clear your browser data.

4.3 Identity Provider

Our authentication provider may set its own session cookies during login. These are necessary for the sign-in process, managed by the identity provider (not Invocit), and cleared when you close your browser.

5. What We Do NOT Use

Our Platform does not use:

  • Web analytics services (e.g., Google Analytics)
  • Session recording tools (e.g., Hotjar)
  • Social media tracking pixels
  • Advertising or retargeting cookies
  • Cross-site or cross-domain tracking
  • Browser fingerprinting

6. Managing Storage

You can manage browser storage through your browser settings:

  • Close the browser tabto clear all session data (including authentication)
  • Clear site datain browser settings to reset preferences
  • Block cookies entirely— note this will prevent login from working
