I wanted a machine that had NO limitations

I would absolutely recommend to every roaster to consider IMF. IMF was the only machine that had no limitations when it comes to power or batch capacity. It is nice being able to roast a full batch in under 8 minutes. Being a full convection machine allows specialty roasters to roast few points lighter without risking underdevelopment.

Also, I believe every business today is trying to reduce their carbon footprint. Technology that comes with IMF requires no afterburner and consumes 30% less gas compared to other manufactures.

I knew IMF by a German dealer and found it’s concept very interesting.The most important things in IMF’s roasters are the integration of an afterburner in the roasting machine and the method of heat transfer by air. The first one leads to lower energy consumption and emissions compared to a roaster plus traditional afterburner.

We chose IMF for the reliable roasting outcome

and the ease in which we can adjust the process without chasing a roasting curve. I really like to create the roast profile based on hot air in instead of hot air out. Also the build in afterburner is a big advantage.

We were looking for a IMF 15kg model but we were offered a 30kg used model and chose that one. We are really satisfied with it.
