TITLE:  Professor, UC Department of Surgery

INSTITUTION:  University of Cincinnati

GOAL:  Dr. Peiro is developing a technique to treat congenital hydrocephalus by performing an endoscopic third ventriculostomy (ETV) in utero. Early treatment may improve cognitive outcomes and negate the need of a shunt.
