Python - Words Lengths in String

We are given a string we need to find length of each word in a given string. For example, we are s = "Hello world this is Python" we need to find length of each word so that output should be a list containing length of each words in sentence, so output in this case will be [5, 5, 4, 2, 6].

Using List Comprehension

List comprehension provides a concise way to compute word lengths by iterating over words in a string and applying the len() function. It enhances code readability and performance by eliminating the need for explicit loops.

s = "Hello world this is Python"

w = [len(word) for word in s.split()] 
print(w)

Explanation:

• s.split() method splits the string into a list of words, and len(word) computes the length of each word.

Using map() and split()
