Clint Proctor is a lead editor with the credit cards and travel rewards team at Forbes Advisor. After starting his own personal finance blog in 2018, Clint quickly began freelance writing for several national publications including Business Insider, MyFICO, Credit Karma, Magnify Money, ChooseFI, DoughRoller and more. Within a year, he was able to quit his job and focus full-time on creating personal finance content.

After accepting his first part-time editor role in 2020, he transitioned to full-time editing work from 2021-2022 before joining Forbes Advisor’s Credit Cards and Travel Rewards editorial team in 2023. Clint has redeemed millions of credit card points and miles to book budget-friendly travel and is passionate about helping others do the same.

In addition to his bucket list of world travel destinations, he would love to visit all 63 U.S national parks. When he’s not editing or traveling, you’ll most likely find him spending time with his wife and two boys with a cup of coffee in his hands.
