Does FooSales work anywhere in the world?

FooSales works in any country that WooCommerce supports which is practically all countries. WooCommerce currently integrates with over 100 different payment gateways.

How difficult is it to setup FooSales as I’m not very technical?

The FooSales setup process is very easy. The most technical part is installing the FooSales WordPress plugin and connecting your WooCommerce store to FooSales.

The FooSales WordPress plugin can be installed directly from your WordPress admin area by selecting ‘Add New’ in the Plugins menu, search for “FooSales” and click “Install Now”. You can also download and install the plugin manually if you prefer.

Does FooSales process payments or integrate with third-party card readers?

FooSales offers direct integrations with most Square and Stripe Readers to process payments. If you don’t use Square or Stripe, card payments can be manually processed using any third-party card reader of your choice and set to “Card Payment” at checkout. The payment type can also be set to Cash, Direct Bank Transfer, Check, Cash on Delivery and Other Payment Method or you can create your own custom payment methods.

Will I get access to FooSales on all supported platforms or are there hidden fees?

An active FooSales plan gives you access to FooSales on all platforms for the same price (iPad, Android tablet and web).

A Plus plan is required for access to more advanced features such as the Stripe and Square payment integrations.

Can I run FooSales on any computer?

Yes! The FooSales web app runs in most modern web browsers including Google Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Microsoft Edge.

Can I run the FooSales web app on my own domain?

Yes, you can but you will need to purchase the FooSales Point of Sale (POS) for WooCommerce extension which is sold exclusively on the WooCommerce Marketplace.

What license must I purchase to use FooSales on different subdomains?

Each website or subdomain requires its own license to use FooSales. So for example, if your setup is https://subdomain1.yoursite.com, https://subdomain2.yoursite.com etc. OR https://www.yoursite.com/site1/, https://www.yoursite.com/site2/ etc. you will need to purchase an additional plan.

If you have a single website/domain and would like to test FooSales on a staging site from time to time, you can do this by linking your plan to the staging site (e.g. https://staging.yourstore.com) and then link it back to your production site when you have finished testing (https://www.yourstore.com).

What payment methods are accepted for FooSales plans and add-ons?

FooSales plans and add-ons are processed securely in US dollars (USD) by our international payment partner Stripe (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club and JCB are accepted). South African customers will be charged in South Africa rand (ZAR) and payments will be processed securely by Paystack (Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Verve are accepted). PayPal is also a payment option for all countries except South Africa and Canada.

Can I use FooSales to manage multiple WooCommerce websites?

Yes, however, you will need to purchase a plan for each website/domain.

What languages do the FooSales apps support?

English, Afrikaans, Czech, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish.

What are the system requirements to use FooSales?

The FooSales web app runs in most modern web browsers including Google Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Microsoft Edge.

To use the FooSales tablet apps, you will need a late-model iPad or Android tablet.

Android minimum requirements:

Android 7.0 (Nougat) or higher
Android tablet with a 7” or bigger screen
Camera (either front or back facing or both for scanning barcodes)
Internet connection

iPad minimum requirements:

iOS 12.0 or higher
Any iPad (version 3 or higher), iPad Mini, iPad Air or iPad Pro

FooSales uses the tablet’s built-in camera/s to scan barcodes but it also supports compatible Bluetooth barcode scanners and printers.

How safe and private is my data?

FooSales is ultra secure since it does not store any of your store data on our servers. All of your data remains on your own website, tablet or computer. FooSales simply connects to your website, pulls your product catalog, and sends new orders back to your site. FooSales also complies with the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for added peace of mind.
