FEBS3+ Meeting BELGRADE

will be held in Hotel M, in Belgrade, Serbia, from 24th to 27th September 2025.

On behalf of the Organizing Committee of FEBS3+ Meeting BELGRADE, the Serbian Biochemical Society (SBS), and also on behalf of the Croatian Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (HDBMB), the Hungarian Biochemical Society (HBS), the Slovenian Biochemical Society (SBD) and the Association of Biochemists and Molecular Biologists in Bosnia and Herzegovina (ABMBBIH), we are pleased to invite you to participate in the upcoming scientific congress.

The congress is planned as a regional gathering of scientists from five participating countries that work in the fields of biochemistry and molecular biology. FEBS3+ Meeting Belgrade is planned as a broad conference with a diversity of session topics to cover different aspects of life sciences studied in participating countries.

A Scientific Committee, with representatives from all five societies, defines the session topics:

  1. Design and structure of proteins
  2. Molecular basis of disease and therapy
  3. Novel bioactive compounds: identification and development
  4. Systems biology and bioinformatics
  5. RNA biology
  6. Regulation of gene expression
  7. Functional food and health
  8. Biochemistry and bioengineering for sustainable industry – interdisciplinary approach
  9. Cellular processes and signaling
  10. Molecular evolution

Hundreds of participants are expected to join the Congress, be introduced to innovative concepts and exchange experiences, refresh existing and establish new contacts with colleagues, in the pleasant atmosphere of Belgrade in
September 2025.

We will keep you informed on all relevant details regarding your participation, including the Preliminary program, registration, and abstract submission, which will be available in February, through the FEBS3+ Meeting BELGRADE website www.febs3belgrade.com which will be launched in a few days, as well as regular promotional campaigns and our social networks.
