Wondercon was awesome! I got to meet so many people, and my friends were AMAZING WONDERFUL PEOPLE who saved me when tap to pay wasn't working and my square reader got left at home charging. You always forget something while packing for a con, but I am super super grateful to have such kind people in my life, since the thing I use to take card payments is a pretty rough one. It sadly is reminiscent of the time my car was in the shop during a con several years ago and I forgot that the keys to my cashbox were on the keyring >_> Clearly I need to write myself a LOT of notes when packing for Fanime.
We reached a big milestone last week with our 250th token! We’re powering through all the race/class combinations are are looking at the home stretch for several variations!
That also means I’m gonna have to find time to put together the racial token packs that are finished–I think we’ve now got the human and half-orc packs finished and ready to be formatted!
Tokens are available at the Familiar level on my patreon and there is a weekly poll to decide on what designs are done next!
Carnival Six Studio is going to be in the Artist’s Alley at Portland Fan Expo from Jan 16-18th! Come see me at the booth and I’ll have secret giveaways for fans of Facet (and Handbook fans, there’s stuff for you, too!) if you let me know you’re a reader! I’m looking forward to drinking too much caffeine, wishing I had the time to put together proper cosplay (that doesn’t end up being super uncomfortable since I’m at my booth the whole time), and supporting and making friends with my fellow Artist Alley neighbors!
See you there!

Physics is such an annoying thing.
Laurel
Think of all it holds us back from!
Grendelkin
@Glmdgrielson & Laurel: As physics also “holds us back” from floating up into the hard vacuum of space, I wouldn’t disparage all of it. 🙁
Laurel
Psh, reality is such a dreamkiller.
