EBAA supports ReFuelEU’s SAF blending mandate, reflecting the sector’s commitment to decarbonising its operations. However, targeted adjustments are needed to ensure the Regulation’s anti-tankering provisions do not create unnecessary administrative burdens. EBAA also calls for an EU book-and-claim system, enabling operators to benefit from flexibility comparable to that already granted to fuel suppliers.

It highlights the essential role business aviation plays in Europe’s connectivity, competitiveness, and innovation, while outlining a clear roadmap to net-zero emissions by 2050. The document presents concrete policy recommendations to ensure fair market access, accelerate sustainable aviation fuel uptake, invest in new technologies, and strengthen Europe’s position as a global leader in aviation.
