The EBAA

The European Business Aviation Association (EBAA) is the leading organisation for operators of business aircraft in Europe. EBAA represents more than 700 companies from across the entire value chain of the European Business aviation industry.

Our mission

At EBAA, we work to promote responsible and sustainable growth in business aviation, improving connectivity and creating opportunities in the sector.

Our organization was founded in 1977 in Brussels with a clear objective: To represent companies, corporate operators, commercial operators, manufacturers, airports, fixed-base operators, and other entities in the European space, especially when dealing with European institutions and policymakers.

Today, we serve as the voice of more than 700 companies, with a total fleet of over 1,000 aircraft. To do so, we work every day to improve safety standards and share best practices within our industry.

Our vision

EBAA is committed to promoting positive regulation that facilitates all aspects of point-to-point air transport, carefully tailored and flexible, for individuals, governments, businesses, and local authorities.

We take the value of time into account at every step, and our goal is to work towards achieving regulations that are as timely and efficient as possible.

How we work

The association is in constant contact to keep up with policy developments at the European level and their possible impact on our industry.

But beyond the work of our Advocacy team, EBAA offers over 50 different products and services to members of our community to strengthen the business aviation industry.

One of the most valuable services we offer our members within EBAA is our working groups. In these working groups, the EBAA community raises the challenges facing the sector, debates issues, and devises ideas and solutions.

Each working group consists of a representative sample of EBAA members, all of whom are experts in their areas of specialization.

By bringing together the best experts in an area, our working groups examine key issues, establish valuable connections, share best practices, and suggest improved approaches to develop and enhance their areas of expertise for the benefit of the entire business aviation sector.

Each of our groups focuses on areas of critical importance to the business aviation sector. They are composed of a select group of members who have volunteered to freely share their specialized knowledge and skills.

Through regular meetings, they examine key issues, establish valuable connections, share best practices, and suggest practical approaches to develop and improve their specialized disciplines. They are the “go-to group” of experts and an invaluable resource when addressing specific operational challenges.

In addition to leading our own working groups, we also participate in relevant cross-company and industry-wide groups within the aviation industry.

Associate Member Advisory Council (AMAC)

The Associate Member Advisory Council advises the EBAA Board of Governors on areas of interest to the membership and acts as the bridge between EBAA and our associate members.

What is AMAC?

The Associate Member Advisory Council (AMAC) advises the EBAA Board of Governors on areas of interest to the membership and acts as the bridge between EBAA and our associate members. Consisting of 8 committees serving individual sectors of associate membership, AMAC is also an incubator for projects that have a real added value for EBAA and our members.
