DRYOUT can be reset through several methods.

 

Universal Reset Rule​​​:

Empty. Expose. Dry.

 

"Expose” means allowing DRYOUT to release moisture by opening the product or removing the DRYOUT panel or insert from its case. DRYOUT is reusable.

 

As it removes moisture from your gear, moisture is temporarily stored within the DRYOUT material. Resetting releases that trapped moisture so DRYOUT is ready for its next recovery use.​

 

For best performance:

1. Remove all gear before resetting.

2. Open the product completely to maximize airflow.

3. Use one of the approved reset methods.

Note: Do not exceed 180°F (82°C) in a conventional oven or 185°F (85°C) with any other reset method.

Combining direct heat with forced airflow generally provides the fastest reset.​

Note: Reset times assume the DRYOUT product is fully opened or otherwise configured to maximize airflow.

1. Empty

Remove all gear from the DRYOUT-engineered product.

 

2. Expose

Open the product fully or remove the DRYOUT panel or insert from its enclosure.

 

3. Dry

Reset using sunlight, direct heat, forced airflow, or a combination of these methods.
