Roberto Peruzzo (robertoperuzzo)

I'm passionate about coding and skateboarding, because both have taught me the same thing: balance, creativity, and the joy of being part of quirky, open-minded communities.

After graduating in Computer Science at Ca' Foscari University of Venice back in 2003, I started out as a software developer, diving deep into J2EE, Oracle databases, and all those fun engineering methodologies that make systems tick. A couple of years later, I teamed up with my friend Nicola and co-founded Studio AQUA (2005-2023). For nearly two decades, we blended software engineering, web marketing, and user experience to craft digital projects, Drupal quickly became our skatepark of choice, and we loved pushing it to new tricks.

In 2023, we decided it was time for new adventures. I joined SparkFabrik, where I get to keep sharing my love for healthy software alongside the most amazing Drupal team in Italy (yes, I'm biased, but it's true!).

Whether I'm coding or skating, I believe in falling, learning, and getting back up, together. That's why open source feels like home to me: it's about collaboration, sharing knowledge, and building something solid that everyone can ride on.
